The free agency center market just got a couple of new and interesting options for the Lakers, as they continue to look for a big man to add to their 14th roster spot.

The first two top options are set to be Christian Wood and Bismack Biyombo, but now could be gone with the two players that have become free agents.

NBA insider Shams Charania has reported that the Mavs are planning to waive the 3 times NBA champion JaVale McGee, who was part of the championship roster from 2020, so Pelinka could be considering bringing him back for one more stint.

But the most interesting option is the 21 years old center that the Phoenix Suns have waived, Usman Garuba, who could be an important acquisition for the purple and gold.

What Usman Garuba brings to the Lakers' table

The Lakers signing Usman Garuba will be adding an interesting young center that could grow to be a key piece for the team ahead of this season thanks to his talent even when he isn't going to be a massive NBA star.
