Los Angeles Lakers legend and Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not only one of the best players the NBA has ever seen, but he has been active lately. He was having debuted a podcast recently about his time with the Lakers.
He also has a blog where he writes memories and has even reviewed Hulu's documentary about the Lakers. He is constantly posting on Instagram, and now after organizing a Showtime Lakers reunion, he is having a great time.
After 34 years since the Showtime Lakers' final championship in 1988, Kareem and the squad have reunited in Maui, Hawaii. Just when they used to go for practice before the beginning of a new season.
Abdul-Jabbar posted some pictures from the reunion on social media and added that it was the first time the Showtime Lakers team was together for practice since his retirement in 1989. Former HC Pat Riley was there, and other stars like Magic Johnson.
The Showtime Laker Kareem has the record for the most scored points of all time, but current LA Laker LeBron James is about to surpass it and become the new number one in that respect. Still, Kareem will be as the second and continues to be one of the greatest players ever.
