After losing to the Phoenix Suns, the Lakers are in a difficult position as they need to start winning to be able to climb seeds if they want to make it straight to the playoffs or at least advance to the Play-In Tournament.

This will be the final game between the two teams. In the three previous games, the Lakers have won two of them. In the games, LeBron James has averaged 30.0 points per game. James has also grabbed 10.0 rebounds and dished out 7.0 assists per game against the Clippers.

Anthony Davis has averaged a double-double against the Clippers, as well. D'Angelo Russell has averaged 22.3 points per game, but nobody else has been above 12.0. As a team, the Lakers have scored 117.3 points per game against the Clippers. Christian Wood, Gabe Vincent, and Jarred Vanderbilt will all sit out of this game.

The Clippers have lost two of three games against the Lakers. However, they are still one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden have combined to average 69.7 points, 16.3 rebounds, and 17.5 assists per game. As a team, the Clippers are scoring 118.3 points per game against the Lakers this season. For this game, Paul George is questionable as he is dealing with an injury.

The Lakers injuries continue to affect the team this season

Despite their main stars being healthy, the Lakers have been suffering from different players being out because of injuries, key pieces like Jarred Vanderbilt, Cam Reddish, Gabe Vincent, and more recently Christian Wood.
