Lakers vs. Hornets

The Los Angeles Lakers have been dominating the game against the Charlotte Hornets with great performances by D'Angelo Russell scoring 28 points, LeBron James with 23 points, and Anthony Davis with 22 points.

But AD has been the one to reach a new milestone in his career with a triple-double, the third one in his career. AD has 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. While it could feel like three triple-doubles isn't much, the reality is that Anthony Davis has never been a player that assists much, because of his role, but he has significantly improved in that area in the last season.

The Lakers have been struggling in the last quarter but are getting closer to getting their third win in a row despite some stepbacks from three and turnovers in this game with a weak defensive game.

Anthony Davis continues to be consistent on the season after being the target of the NBA media calling him fragile, inconsistent, and more. Many fans believe he should win this season's Defensive Player of the Year award and a runner-up for the MVP award.

Thursday night the Lakers not only will be hosting vs. the Nuggets

On Thursday, Feb. 8, the Lakers will be hosting their game vs. the Nuggets, but the highlight will be the unveiling of Kobe Bryant's statue which has been really anticipated by purple and gold fans around the world.
