The LA Lakers have won six out of their last seven games, with the only loss being against the NBA reigning champions the Denver Nuggets, and having five players missing the contest, including D'Angelo Russell who has been key for the team's latest success.

D'Angelo Russell was in multiple rumors and reports that had him leaving Los Angeles at the NBA's trade deadline, but he started improving his game, despite having a great start of the season. D'Lo has been at moments one of the best players in the roster and a true leader to the group.

D'Lo was so good that the Lakers decided to stand pat and kept their roster as it was built in the offseason with only adding point guard Spencer Dinwiddie in the buyout market, using their available 15th spot till that moment.

Following the impressive Lakers win over the Utah Jazz without five of their players including LeBron James, D'Angelo Russell sent a message to the league: "The scary part is we can be better." This is a clear message that they are pursuing winning everything this year.

The Lakers have shown two faces this season

The Lakers that won their 7 games of the In-Season Tournament plus other games is the fact that the group is currently showing and has contending potential, unlike the other face they have shown in the campaign as the team has also been struggling.
