In recent years, the NBA All-Star hasn't been what it used to be, with stars now focusing on staying healthy to be back with their teams, not wanting to compete or caring about the audience that is avis to see a pickup game with some of the best players in the game.

Kobe Bryant was always known for his competitive nature but he also always cared about giving a spectacle to the fans. Now that the NBA All-Star game of 2024 has come and gone with the audience being bored and only a few players giving a show, fans have looked back to Kobe Bryant's take on the All-Star losing its steam.

"I feel like we all have a sense of responsibility and we're voted in for what we do during the season. Which is play hard. I think that's what the fans really want to see. Want to see us get after it a little bit." Said Kobe Bryant about being part of the All-Star games.

I want them to come out and compete. You wanna do something for me, let’s go out there and compete, and have a good competitive game. And then let’s win the game," said Bryant.

LeBron James could miss the Lakers next game vs. the GSW

After the All-Star Game, LeBron James said a treatment for his ankle may keep him out of Lakers vs. Warriors on Thursday: “It possibly could. It depends on the recovery process. So, possibly. But we will see. I’m feeling okay. I definitely wasn’t going to put too much pressure on the game tonight... I want to try to be as healthy as I can be physically. This last part of the season is very important for us. I got to make sure of that.”
