The biggest offseason signing before the 2023-24 NBA season for the LA Lakers was the PG Gabe Vincent who played the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat against the Denver Nuggets. But Vincent has been available only 5 games of the 50 the team has played. Gabe has been named by the fans as Kendrick Nunn 2.0 because the guard also came from Miami to be out due to injuries.

The Lakers let go of Dennis Schröder, the German point guard who led his national team to win the FIBA World Cup this past summer, but he hasn't been able to earn a spot in the starting lineup for the Toronto Raptors, meanwhile, the Lakers have been missing a player like him to change things up, especially in clutch time.

With Vincent still out, now has been revealed by NBA insider Jake Fischer that the front office has included the point guard in trade talks as they keep targeting players to make a move with the trade deadline being less than a week away now.

"We’ve heard plenty of D’Angelo Russell’s involvement in the Los Angeles Lakers’ trade conversations to fortify the unit around LeBron James, Anthony Davis and front-office favorite Austin Reaves. Let it be known that Los Angeles has also been including injured point guard Gabe Vincent, who’s played just five games due to a knee injury, in various trade talks, sources said," wrote Fischer.

Austin Reaves was unstoppable against the Boston Celtics

Austin Reaves scored 32 points to help the Lakers defeat their biggest rivals, the Boston Celtics. The Lakers guard was so good that he even outscored Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined this Thursday night.
