With the latter part of the NBA season coming and the Los Angeles Lakers looking to climb seeds in the Western Conference Standings to pursue making it straight to the playoffs and avoid the Play-In Tournament, the rest of the contests in the campaign are must-wins.

Despite the Golden State Warriors haven't been great this season, they are a dangerous team, and every franchise when facing the purple and gold, gives their best efforts as the Lakers are always the team to defeat for the rest of the league.

LeBron James missed the last game before the All-Star weekend, but the team was able to get the win vs. the Utah Jazz and looked great when doing it, still, they want to have back their best star when facing this Thursday night, Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors.

“I’m feeling okay,” James said after the All-Star contest. “I definitely wasn’t going to put too much pressure on the game tonight for me physically. I want to try to be as healthy as I can be physically. This last part of the season is very important for us. I got to make sure of that.” Depending on how he responds to the treatment he received, he could miss the game vs. Golden State, the star admitted, “It possibly could. It depends on the recovery process,” James revealed. “So possibly, but we will see.”

What is next for LeBron James and the LA Lakers

James' immediate challenge in L.A. is assuring that, at 30-26 and currently No. 9 in the Western Conference, the Lakers secure a playoff berth. "Obviously, with our Laker team, it's been about health all year. Trying to do what's best for me for the betterment of the team."
