Following the win over the New Orleans Pelicans, the LA Lakers are now showing their best offensive game, this time against the Detroit Pistons despite a sloppy last couple of minutes in the first quarter, but they got a 10 points lead.

Coach Darvin Ham repeated the starting lineup he used against the New Orleans Pelicans, and after the first twelve minutes, Anthony Davis scored 8 points, Hachimura 7, LeBron James 6, Austin Reaves 5, and D'Angelo Russell 3 points.

Another highlight for the purple and gold has been the debut of their newest point guard Spencer Dinwiddie who hasn't scored yet but after five minutes of playtime has shown he will be helpful for the team as he has one rebound and one assist.

LA got off to a hot start before slowing down at the end of the quarter. Need to re-settle in the second. Still, it was a dominating 12 minutes, and for the second quarter, LA could make the lead to be bigger than it was looking to be at first. The Lakers are winning despite being shorthanded with four key missing players, Cam Reddish, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Max Christie.

Spencer Dinwiddie has made his debut as a Lakers player

After playing about a minute with the other four starters (Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, and Austin Reaves), the Lakers are now using Spencer Dinwiddie in a bench-centric lineup alongside Reaves, Taurean Prince, Christian Wood, and Davis.
