The Los Angeles Lakers may not have released their latest injury report update but it has been reported by NBA insiders including ESPN's Dave McMenamin that Anthony Davis didn't participate in today's practice which is concerning ahead to Wednesday's night game vs. the LA Clippers.

McMenamin wrote: "Anthony Davis did not practice Tuesday because of an upper-respiratory illness, the team says. His status for tomorrow's game against the Clippers is TBD." This is the most concerning update we've got in recent weeks.

AD possibly being injured could be the worst possible news for the LA Lakers ahead of their last 23 games left in the season to close in the best way possible the campaign in their pursuit of the playoffs to make a run for the NBA championship title.

Darvin Ham also said that Cam Reddish participated in practice today and they'll see how he feels in the morning before deciding if he can play against the Clippers. Gabe Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt have not progressed to on-court work yet.

The help Anthony Davis needs from the rest of the defensive players

We spoke with Darvin Ham, Max Christie, and Rui Hachimura at practice today and they all mentioned that helping Anthony Davis on the defensive glass was a focus in their film session. "All bad clips," Darvin Ham said of the film session.
