Following the loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Los Angeles Lakers are once again under .500 with a 19-20 in the season. Coach Darvin Ham hasn't been able to find the right team rotation and with constant starting lineup changes, reports suggest a disconnect between the locker room and him.

With all the struggles that have affected the team, coach Darvin Ham hasn't been able to handle the group, and different players being vocal about not knowing their roles inside the team, sparked reports of a disconnect between the Lakers and their head coach.

After those reports, speculation was out that the sit by Darvin Ham was becoming warmer and that they had even picked a replacement for assistant coach Phil Handy. Now, the front office is saying they are supporting Ham.

Owner Jeanie Buss and president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka have informed the second-year head coach that his job is not in jeopardy, sources say.

Darvin Ham isn't focused on the rumors but on the team

That assurance from the top has allowed Ham to purely focus on redirecting his team. "I speak to Rob every day and we're always discussing ways to improve our team and what we can do better as a coaching staff," Ham told B/R after falling to 19-20 on the season. "It's an open dialogue that I embrace and that is helpful. We're all trying to get this right and we will."
