Before the All-Star break, the Los Angeles Lakers looked to finally have established an identity and winning culture for the rest of the regular season and beyond. But instead of the rest having helped it has affected the group in more ways than one.

Instead of recovering some of their injured players, the team somehow got more players injured and in the first game since the All-Star weekend, LeBron James and Christian Wood joined Cam Reddish, Gabe Vincent, and Jarred Vanderbilt on unavailable players for coach Ham to use in Thursday's night loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Tonight against the San Antonio Spurs, the Lakers had a slow start but at the end of the 1st quarter, they were looking great and attempting a blowout win since early on. But coach Ham changed things and San Antonio cut the distance.

Just when the Lakers had a double-digit lead in the first quarter vs. the Spurs, coach Darvin Ham decided to keep on the bench at the same time for LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves instead of having a better use of his team rotation. As a consequence, the Spurs cut to 4 points only the advantage the Lakers previously held.

LeBron James is back and the Lakers have the lead vs. the Spurs

After 16 minutes of playtime for the purple and gold against San Antonio, LeBron James has scored 10 points, 5/9 FG, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and +12 in the plus/ minus.
