To everyone's surprise, coach Darvin Ham didn't use the continuity the front office bet on in the offseason with all the moves that they made with the idea of building from what they accomplished by making it to the WCF last season.

Darvin Ham didn't use Jarred Vanderbilt because the wing missed the first twenty games of the season, but used Taurean Prince and stood with him for most of the campaign despite the player being better with a coming-off-the-bench role.

Rui Hachimura showed he should be starting and with Ham experimenting the rumors and reports of a disconnect started to show up until he stopped being stubborn and sent Prince to the bench with Hachimura being now the starter.

The starting five of D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Rui Hahcimura, and Anthony Davis is 6-0 so far in the season. The Lakers forfeited 10+ wins by not starting Rui or Vando. Simply a mismanagement of talent by Darvin.

The Lakers injury report update isn't optimistic against the Suns

Cam Reddish, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James are all listed as questionable for tonight's contest, which isn't ideal because coach Darvin Ham already hasn't available Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Christian Wood.
