The biggest problem the Lakers have is coach Darvin Ham, but he believes he isn't the issue but his players as he had some criticism for his group after the win over the San Antonio Spurs this Friday night in Los Angeles.

Coach Ham said, "Sometimes the home run play is not the play to make." Also, he added that if they just keep things "simple" then they will be able to execute at a high level.

This is not the first time coach Darvin has had some criticism towards his players, but the fans are wondering when is Ham going to learn to call at the right moment for a time-out. Also, other criticism is why take out some players on their best moment on the court to bench them or have three of their best stars like LeBron, AD, and Austin sitting out at the same time.

If the Lakers want to win the NBA title this season, Darvin needs to significantly do better as he has been the worst part of the team and the wins have been thanks to the talent of the roster and not his strategy.

The Lakers had their best starting five against the Spurs

Before the All-Star break, the Lakers' best starting five of the campaign have been D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, and Anthony Davis. After having Taurean Prince as a starter vs. the Warriors because of LeBron's absence, vs. the Spurs, Ham can return to that lineup to get back where they left things for the All-Star break.
