The Los Angeles Lakers have made most of their offseason movements, but they have still some left that needs to be addressed before the training camp starts. Will Christian Wood sign with the Lakers? Is Jarred Vanderbilt signing an extension before training camp? And, are the Lakers planning to have two bigs as starters with Jaxson Hayes and Anthony Davis?

Even when Christian Wood wants to have a bigger role with Miami Heat, the Damian Lillard situation is their priority, so we believe that at the end of the offseason Wood will be accepting the Lakers' offer to become the backup center.

Jarred Vanderbilt was a valuable asset for the Lakers in the last campaign, as he was one of the players that help changed things around and even in the postseason his defense was able to make the way to the WCF. So we believe the Lakers and Jarred Vanderbilt will indeed be signing an extension before the training camp starts.

And finally but not least, even when reports by NBA insider Jovan Buha had coach Ham considering starting Jaxson Hayes with Anthony Davis, we believe that at the season opener in the rematch against the Nuggets, the Lakers won't be starting the game with two bigs and Rui Hachimura will be the starter.

The Lakers won't sign a 15th player for the start of the campaign

It has been reported that Pelinka and coach Ham want to keep the 15th spot available for later in the season depending on how things are going for the team.
