The LA Lakers superstar LeBron James was frustrated with the team and their situation for most of it, as the roster wasn't strong enough to contend for the championship.

James sent different messages to the fans and the front office until GM Rob Pelinka delivered at the trade deadline with massive moves that helped the team and changed it for good.

Pelinka got rid of the Lakers' main problem Russell Westbrook and instead brought in D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley. Other trades brought to the team are Rui Hachimura, Mo Bamba, and Devon Reed, who now has been waived.

At one point before the trade, LeBron James' frustration took the best of him, and he wrote in his Twitter the following message: "I can/will NOT miss the postseason again for my career! This shit HURT. Ok, back to watching these games." He deleted it later but delivered it as the team is now in the playoffs.

The Lakers have a championship mindset

The LA Lakers have the right mindset and want to go deep in their postseason run and have the championship as their primary goal, and LeBron James will not.
