In recent days it was announced that the big man Christian Wood had agreed to a two-year 5.7 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, with this, the pursuit for a center by the organization was complete.

But the team still has their 15th spot available to use, and with only two centers in the roster besides Anthony Davis, they could bring another big to LA, especially with the Sacramento Kings now waiving two of their centers.

With information by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski: "After signing JaVale McGee to a free agent deal, the Sacramento Kings are waiving centers Nerlens Noel and Neemias Queta to give them a chance to play elsewhere. Both signed partially guaranteed one-year deals with Kings this summer."

The Lakers do still have an open roster spot, and this could make GM Rob Pelinka sign one of them, especially after the news broke that Anthony Davis has asked for help at the five position with him wanting to have a bigger role as a Power Forward.

Christian Wood wants to become a starter for Coach Ham's team

At the moment, Rui Hachimura is set to be the team's starter, but Christian Wood could earn that spot if Anthony Davis does return to the Power Forward role he is more comfortable with.
