Austin Reaves vs. Dennis Schröder, the German guard reaction to his upcoming face off

Even when Austin Reaves and Dennis Schröder have only but love and respect for each other, as both guards shared locker room being part of the LA Lakers in the previous season that made it into the NBA's WCF.

But now that Dennis Schröder has left LA and signed with the Toronto Raptors, both will be rivals in the NBA, but not only there, as they will face each other in the semifinals of the FIBA World Cup when Team USA and Germany clash to see which team will make it to the Finals to contend for the gold.

Following Germany’s win against Latvia to make the FIBA WC 2023 semis vs. USA, Dennis Schroder has reacted to having to face his former teammate by sharing his thoughts on facing the Americans: “That’s my guy! I have nothing but love for him. Last year was special, what we accomplished as teammates, and yeah, I'm looking forward to it.”

Schröder may not be part of the Lakers roster anymore, but he has done nothing but show his love and appreciation for the franchise and everyone involved, especially his teammates.

The respect Austin Reaves and Schröder have is mutual, as both shared the backcourt of the team and were able to help advance into the Western Conference Finals.
