The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is often underrated in the GOAT debate because of the number of championship titles he has won and the number of MVP awards as he has four in each category.

Michael Jordan won during his NBA career a total of six championship titles and 5 MVP awards, making it  2 and one more respectively than LeBron James.

But for NBA coach Brad Stevens, LeBron James is still underrated in the sense that the Lakers star deserves to have more than 4 MVPs during his excellent career.

"He'd be a multiple-time MVP winner if people didn't get bored and look for other things to discuss." Said Stevens on LeBron James. If LeBron has won more MVP awards this could also affect the GOAT debate, making more people to side on the Lakers star side.

LeBron James will break an 'impossible' record in the 2023-24 season

LeBron James broke the all-time scoring record that was previously held by the showtime-era legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the last season. But on the next, he will achieve something no one else has done, reach 40K in points, 10K in rebounds, and 10K in assists, the 'impossible' record that only the King will be able to break.
