The big man Christian Wood may have played in seven different teams already in his NBA career, but the center appears to finally have found his right place in the league with the LA Lakers.
Wood has already played alongside Anthony Davis and has worked with coach Darvin Ham on their time together in the Milwaukee Bucks, and despite the bad rep the centers had, the purple and gold organization believes they can make the big man work in the team.
Christian has excited the Lakers Nation by posting a clear message on his social media: "It’s always been my dream to be a Laker." The fans couldn't hoped for a better message than the one the new Lakers center has sent to the fans, his new home, and the NBA.
If Wood and the new signings work for LA, the Lakers have a great deep roster that could be accomplishing the ultimate goal, winning next year's championship title.
Following his recent signing with the Lakers, Wood gave a statement to Andscape: "I've always wanted to be a Laker. I know we can win a championship. Communication with a coach is a big key. Coach Ham and I go back to our Milwaukee days and we've had great conversations everyday about this opportunity. He believes in me and told me I'll be playing a big role and knows what I can do. I'm looking forward to this and Fasure motivated after what Dallas did."
