D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves have not only become one of the best duos in the team, as both dominated their rivals in the previous season at the Lakers backcourt.

D-Lo has been the Lakers' starting point guard since the moment that GM Rob Pelinka signed him back. Austin Reaves earned his place alongside Russell at the end of the regular season.

Reaves has now become the shooting guard starter, but head coach Steve Kerr has been using Reaves as a PG, which could make D'Angelo to worry about his role in coach Ham's team.

D'Angelo is already nervous with the rumors that Gabe Vincent will be the starter after. Nothing has been set on stone, but with what Reaves has been doing at the same.

Darvin Ham has algo high praise to the Lakers SG

“I’m putting it on record right now: Austin Reaves will be an All-Star at some point soon. I think what you saw him being invited to be a part of the World Cup team? It’s the first step in that direction. Everything you saw him do last year, the kid is a flat-out competitor, one of the greatest human beings you could ever be around, always fun, keeps things simple, but yet works at his craft. (He's) fearless in the biggest of moments. And my plan is to continue to feature him. He’s our starting 2-guard. I think there’s a lot more levels (he's) going to get to before it’s all said and done. He’ll be an All-Star and a world champion … with me in the room with him.” Said Ham.
