Davis approved his signing, but the player Jaxson Hayes needs to make the fans forget about

After ending without accomplishing the ultimate goal for the Lakers of winning the championship title, the GM Rob Pelinka and Coach Ham decided to bring back the team's core and build from that.

One of the new faces is Jaxson Hayes, but with the team's last championship being won in the 2020 bubble season, Pelinka and Ham are looking to build a similar team and repeat the strategies that worked in that campaign.

To have the role that Dwight Howard had in that campaign, Pelinka signed the young center Jaxson Hayes, which will have a hard time making the team and fans forget about Dwight, as the team is still looking to add another center and the Lakers Nation want the former purple and gold big to be back for his 4th stint with the team.

Hayes has a mission, to make the fans forget about Dwight Howard and to bring his own game to complement what Anthony Davis will do with the team and at the end of the season, to win the NBA championship title.

The Lakers still want to sign Christian Wood

The offseason continues to pass and the fans get desperate, but the team isn't in a rush to sign one. Pelinka is waiting for Christian Wood, which future seems to depend on whether Damian Lillard signs with Miami Heat or not. Once that's settled, then the team could sign him or move on to the next option, Bismack Biyombo.
