Even when the outcome didn't happen as Austin Reaves wished, as Team USA fell short against Germany and now will be playing against Canada for the bronze medal instead of for the gold, not everything is bad for the Lakers guard.

Today was the last practice for Team USA in Manila, as tomorrow morning the group will face Canada, after that, they will be returning to the States. Reaves has now opened up about what he learned and his overall takeaway from the International experience.

“I think I’ve been able to learn a lot from a lot of really good players and lot of really good coaches. Just basically seeing that I belong. I feel like I competed at a high level obviously things to work on but I feel like I can hit the ground running for the first for the year.” Said Reaves.

Austin believes that his experience in the FIBA World Cup will help him move forward and with the Lakers this season. Reaves will be one of the few players that comes from having a high competition before the upcoming season, which will help him to be on point ahead of other players.

Austin Reaves opened up about the Lakers' latest signing of Christian Wood

"He brings more versatility than we can do with the group we have. I'm sure happy to have him." Said Austin Reaves about the newest Lakers acquisition of the big man Christian Wood.
