LeBron James has been the best player of his generation. Many people can argue that he is the greatest player to ever play the sport. Still, one thing is certain. He has been the most dominant player in the NBA since he entered the league twenty years ago. Now, former James' teammate D Wade explained how LeBron James has managed to play for all this time.

LeBron James and D Wade played together in the Miami Heat when the King joined the team in the 2010 season. Both players made an excellent duo as they reached four finals in a row, winning two of them in back-to-back seasons. Then D Wade joined the LeBron Cavaliers in the 2017 season, as the two teammates played for one last season together.

“I know guys who rolled their ankle have been out 4 weeks. I’ve seen this guy roll his ankle and come back and give you 20 in the 4th... When God made him he said ‘alright imma give you all this, but... I ain’t gonna give you no hairline.,” explained the three-time NBA champion in the ‘I am athlete podcast'.

LeBron James has been an iron-man for most of his career. In his first 15 seasons in the NBA, he only missed around 70 games. Now, since he joined the Lakers four years ago, he has already missed the same amount as in his previous 15 seasons. He might not have the same durability, but he could still play for five more years.

LeBron James Durability

As said above, LeBron James doesn't have the same durability he once had. Last season he only played in 56 games, which might be the reason why the team missed the playoffs. The Lakers need the ‘King’ to be healthy for at least 60 or more games if they want to compete.
