In recent weeks, the former Laker Dwight Howard has expressed his interest in being part of the current LA team and not understanding why no one in the NBA seems to want him.
Howard has been playing in Taiwan, but he isn't the only former Laker that has the belief of being wasted away from the NBA. Michael Beasley, who played in LA in the 2018-2019 season alongside LeBron James, thinks he should still be playing in the league.
Beasley said "I don't know why I'm not in the NBA. If I had the answer that question, I would have solved it a long time ago." Clearly, Michael thinks he is an NBA-level player.
But fans disagree with him and think that the former Laker does belong in the Chinese Basketball league where he plays for the Shangai Sharks.
After winning the 2020 championship title, the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka made some changes in the roster, and in the end, the team failed to win the back-to-back NBA championship. Dwight Howard believes he should've stayed with the players that were let go in that offseason.
