One of the biggest signings in the offseason was the upgrade the Lakers made from the PG Dennis Schröder to the new guard Gabe Vincent, who just played the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat.

Schröder was a helpful coming-off-the-bench player that was a critical part of the success of the team that made it to the past WCF, still, many fans weren't too high on him and now Gabe Vincent has been signed in his place with a three-year 33 million deal.

To sign with the Lakers, Vincent rejected Pat Riley's offer of 24 million. This move is understandable from the money standpoint if you know that Gabe's current net worth is $8 million and him being 27 years old, the player is looking to increase his fortune.

But Vincent not only signed with LA because of money, he recently stated that he believes the Lakers have a better shot at winning the championship title than the Miami Heat and he wants to contribute to that goal.

The Lakers have given Gabe Vincent the most lucrative deal of his career

Before the 2021-22 season, the Heat signed Vincent to a two-year contract worth $3.48 million, according to Spotrac. Penciled in to be part of the Heat's long-term future, Vincent made an impact as part of the Heat's second unit. He averaged 8.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 0.9 steals per game. After his best NBA season, Vincent became a free agent after his contract with Miami expired. To win an NBA championship, Gabe Vincent signed a lucrative deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The contract is officially the largest Vincent ever signed in his basketball career.
