With two back-to-back wins and Anthony Davis set to return soon, the Lakers are now making a trade that helps them to contend

The 10 million that Kendrick Nunn has gotten paid in two years after sitting one out due to an injury and on this one having just a handful of good performances has tired the franchise front office led by GM Rob Pelinka.

It was long rumored that Kyle Kuzma could return to Los Angeles, but the newest report from The Athletic's Shams Charania has the GM going for another star, and a price is already set.

According to Charania, the trade details are that the Lakers will be giving Kendrick Nunn and three 2nd-round picks, while the purple and gold will be receiving the Wizards SF Rui Hachimura.

The fandom is enthusiastic with this move as Rob Pelinka is finally listening to them and signing a Wing that was needed instead of another guard like was previously rumored.

LeBron's message to the front office has worked

If the trade indeed happens, it will prove the pressure that LeBron has been putting on the front office. The messages he sent have finally listened, and the Lakers organization is willing to help him to contend for this season's championship.
