The Los Angeles Lakers are building a deep and strong team to pursue a new championship title in the 2023-24 season, GM Rob Pelinka has built from last season's team core after the purple and gold played the WCF.

For the Lakers fans, the only weakness the team currently has is their head coach, Darvin Ham, who hasn't shown to be competent enough to bring out the best in his team, and some believe that his lackluster job is what caused Denver to sweep LA.

But there's an assistant coach from the Lakers who seems to have the best side of the player, Phil Handy. Handy has been seen busy bringing out the best in each player, and this offseason has been helping Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt and others.

The players have shown their love for Handy by posing in a picture with him, showing the good relationship they have with Phil and maybe even a preference for their head coach Darvin Ham. In the picture players like Hachimura, LeBron, Anthony Davis, band more can be seen.

LeBron James has posed with Kobe Bryant's numbers at practice

At the end of practice, LeBron posed for a picture with the No. 8 and No. 24 behind him, showing the love and appreciation he has for the black mamba Kobe Bryant.
