Following the Lakers Media Day, LeBron said the Lakers were now  Anthony Davis' team, and now he has changed his mind

LeBron James is known to always bring the best out of his teammates, and Anthony Davis is no exception, at the team's Media Day, James opened up about the team being Anthony Davis.

This Saturday, James opened up about the matter and apparently has changed his mind as he no longer talks about the Lakers being Anthony Davis' team, but now he said that both are the team leaders and share the responsibility.

Via Spectrum SportsNet Mike Trudell: "LeBron on Anthony Davis: “AD is great. AD is amazing. We’re co-captains and he’s just as much a leader of this team as I am. He’s everything that this franchise could ever want and more; he’s one of the greatest bigs to play for this franchise for sure.”

James was not the team's face, but he continues to be the face of the league as long as he continues to play. James is entering his year 21 in the NBA and is pursuing the ultimate goal, winning another title.

LeBron James' motivation for his year 21 in the league

“I just think for one, it’s just my motivation to continue to be as great as I can be and solidify what I want to do in my career and still seeing that Larry O’Brien trophy in my mind daily. So that’s one of the best four moments of my career, being able to hoist up that trophy. So, that motivation alone. But also want to be legendary in this game and let my game speak for itself long after I’ve played. But this team has motivated me as well. Coming to practice every day, seeing the guys go to work every day, challenging each other, trying to get better every day. Implement what we want to do. And so, that’s been motivating as well.” Said LeBron
