Coach Ham and GM Rob Pelinka have seen many players see what's out there to bring what they consider to be the best options to help them win the championship title.

Some players have even signed 10-day deals to try and earn a spot for the next campaign's roster, one example is the rookie Alex Fudge who signed a 10-day deal and was able to earn a spot by signing with a two-way contract, which made the sharp 3-point shooter Cole Swider to be waived and signed a 10-day contract with other franchise.

Another player that signed a 10-day deal with LA in January was the shooting guard Sterling Brown, who was set to be of help for the team in their 3-point problem, but wasn't able to earn a spot on the roster, now he hasn't been able to find another team in the NBA and will be playing in Europe.

Per Sportando, the 6'5" wing out of Southern Methodist University is nearing a deal with German club Alba Berlin. He spent his first three NBA seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, before logging time with the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, and finally the Lakers last year.

The reason why Sterling will be playing outside the NBA

In 268 career NBA regular season games (29 starts), Brown boasts averages of 5.3 points on .419/.363/.796 shooting splits, 3.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.5 steals a night. He didn't exactly light the world on fire during his most recent NBA stint. In a limited run (6.0 minutes per) across four games with Los Angeles, Brown didn't score a single bucket, averaging 0.0 points on 0-of-1 field goal shooting, 3.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 steals a night.
