Austin Reaves is doing great this year, not only he had a breakout season, but thanks to that, he has been able to sign a max extension with the Lakers for four years and 56 million.

Reaves also ended the campaign being the starting PG in coach Ham's lineups and has learned a lot from LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The SG also has now released his first signature shoes.

And if that wasn't enough, he is about to play the FIBA World Cup with Team USA. But now also his teammate, D'Angelo Russell has opened up about how great of a person on and off the court is.

Russell said about Reaves “They prolly discredit him ’cause his skin color, but he got game. A lot of Black dudes in the league maybe got one white boy that they know can hang. I can bring him to any park back home, and he gon’ hold it down.”

D'Angelo Russell will compete for the PG starting role

D'Angelo Russell was one of the best Lakers players in the last season, but he doesn't have his role guaranteed as the starting PG, because of the recent signing of Gabe Vincent who just played the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat against the Denver Nuggets. Ham wants to see both PGs at training camp to make up his mind on who will be the regular starter.
