LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the main stars of the Los Angeles Lakers, Austin Reaves has become a fan favorite, and Rui Hachimura has impressed after his postseason run, but there's one name that fans want to see what his game will bring for the team the next campaign.

The defensive game of Jarred Vanderbilt was key for the Lakers' success at the end of the regular season and most of their postseason run, until the Nuggets swept the team.

Now that Vando has been putting up the work this offseason with Phil Handy and today has been seen in the Lakers gym the fans can't wait to see what he'll bring to the team, as they hope he is improving his jump shots.

Vanderbilt was the best defense the team had in the last season but his offensive game was lacking, so seeing him training shots has the fans hyped to see his growth. The Lakers re-signed him for 4.7 million and expect the team to open their wallet the next summer to sign him back for more years to come.

Rui Hachimura and Vanderbilt will battle for the starting role

The Lakers forward Rui and Jarred have been seeing working out together, but both will be battling to see who gets the starting role. Recent reports have Rui Hachimura, but also with the possibility of Jaxson Hayes being the starting center, both forwards could go to the bench.
