With that in mind, the NBA analysis net has made a trade proposal that isn't going to be loved by all Lakers fans, as it includes the fan-favorite Rui Hachimura who was just resigned by Pelinka with a three-year and 51 million deal.

In the NBA analysis website proposal, the Los Angeles Lakers would be giving the Forward Rui Hachimura to receive what they are looking for, a center in the shape of Jonas Valanciunas.

This trade could not be ideal for the Lakers, as Rui Hachimura has proved to be valuable for coach Ham with the performances made by the Japanese wing in the last playoffs. Pelinka and Ham could go for a free agent to sign a backup center instead of losing a potential starter.

One of the closest battles for a starting job in the upcoming season will be the wins of Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt. For coach Ham who'll start it will probably depend on the nature of the game if he is looking for a more offensive wing, Rui Hachimura will be his guy, if needs a more defensive player, Vando will be the option to go.
