The Los Angeles Lakers made a smart move when they traded for the then-New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis. In the year of his arrival in LA, the star immediately hit it off with LeBron James and the team won their first championship title of the LeBron James & AD era.

While the championship title hasn't been repeated and Davis' injury record has hurt him making the NBA world to show repeatedly disrespect after disrespect towards the Lakers star, Davis still shows his great game.

This time the former NBA head coach, Stan Van Gundy, who oddly enough, never won a championship title while Anthony Davis has already a championship ring.

“You cannot make a case that Anthony Davis had a better career than Dwight Howard, that’s ridiculous.” Said Stan Van Gundy on Anthony Davis making the NBA’s 75th-anniversary team. AD is still 30 years old and has years to come of their career to get at least another championship title.

Anthony Davis is set to prove his detractors wrong

The Lakers star, Anthony Davis has just signed a three-year 186 million max extension and is set to repeat winning another title alongside LeBron James. This time for AD is personal as he wants to prove all his doubters and detractors wrong.
