The Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th NBA championship title in 2020 in the bubble, and one of the players was the center Dwight Howard who had a great performance in the WCF series vs. the Nuggets stopping Nikola Jokic.

Since then, Howard left the team only to return for his third stint in the infamous 2021-22 season in the Russell Westbrook debacle. He then went to play in Taiwan after not finding an NBA team to play with for the 2022-23 campaign.

Now that James Harden has broken his partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers after calling liar the President of Basketball operations, in an attempt to change teams, the former Lakers champion has made an interesting offer to the PG.

With Harden being in China, Howard posted on his IG a video when he asks James to go to Taiwan as he plans to buy a team there so the PG can become the franchise player and a partner.  Dwight also said that Harden could pass from scoring 84 to scoring 100 points per game.

Dwight Howard and James Harden were teammates

James Harden and Dwight Howard were teammates with the Houston Rockets at one point in time, and the two had a decent amount of success together. This is most likely why Howard is seeing the pending breakup between Harden and the Sixers as a chance to get his old friend to join him overseas.
