Team USA got a new defeat in the FIBA World Cup for the second time in a row after the 2019 failure, The United States will not be playing for the gold after Germany beat them earlier today.

Dennis Schröder and Germany won by two points and sent Team USA to play for the bronze medal instead of for the gold, and the NBA media tore apart the team.

Many have reacted including the Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal, who posted the final score of the game and with only two words, resumed how everyone felt about it by writing on an IG post: "dam gina."

 

O'Neal wasn't the only one to react, but no one thought that this Team USA was going to lose, even when was a younger version, not having enough size and a strong first unit caused the defeat, despite the incredible effort of players like the Lakers guard Austin Reaves.

Magic Johnson also reacted to the Team USA loss

Not only Shaquille O'Neal, but also the Lakers and Team USA legend Magic Johnson took Twitter to show his reaction to the loss by writing: “Just watched the USA Men’s basketball team play Germany in the FIBA World Cup and I was very disappointed we lost 111-113. Now instead of playing for Gold, we will be playing for Bronze.”
