The Lakers may have completed their roster for the next season, but they have missed on bringing back a former 2020 Lakers champ

With the signing of Christian Wood, the Lakers have completed their roster to start training camp, as they are leaving available the 15th and last place to use further in the regular season.

The Lakers needed a big and they got it, but Pelinka and Ham could've used their 15th roster spot to bring back a player that was helpful in the 2020 championship title: Danny Green.

In his time with the Lakers, Danny Green had a 14,634,247 million annual salary (information from Hoopshype.com), and after winning the championship, the shooting guard signed with the 76ers and played there for two years until signing then with the Houston Rockets.

An ACL injury prevented Danny from having significant playing time, and after being waived, he signed with the Cavaliers to become a free agent this offseason, but the 76ers have officially signed him again, this time for the vet minimum, about 2.7M in a one-year deal according to information by ESPN.

What the Lakers are missing of not signing Danny Green

Green is a 3 times NBA champion, with great experience, and shooting and already has chemistry with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, The Lakers could miss this, still, being 36 years old, Pelinka and Ham are focus on the present and future of the franchise with their combination of youth and experience.
