The top name rumored to be the option for the LA Lakers in this free agency market regarding centers has been Christian Wood. Recent reports have the GM Rob Pelinka interested in signing the big and believing coach Ham and LeBron James can make him work.

But after playing three years in the Dallas Mavericks and having a salary of 13 million per year, the Lakers can only offer him the vet min, which is making Wood think about and wait if another team makes a better offer.

In case Christian Wood doesn't sign with LA, a familiar face from the last season can make a comeback, Wenyen Gabriel, as coach Ham already knows him and has already built some chemistry with most of the players on the roster.

Fans are still hoping Wood decides to sign with the Lakers, as they believe their offensive game could make a great team up with LeBron and Anthony Davis.

The Lakers won't rush signing a center

Even when the Lakers still need a center, there's no rush as we're still a couple of months away from the start of the regular season and another center could become a free agent.
