What was looking to be a repeat of the 2021-22 season outcome, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to save last season after the trade deadline moves, with players like Rui Hachimura, D'Angelo Russell, and Jarred Vanderbilt.

Vando was fast to become a starter in coach Ham's lineups, also was one of the best defenders on the team only behind Anthony Davis who should've won theb, but his injury prevented him from getting it.

Still, Jarred got some criticism from the fans, not because of his defensive skills but because of his lack of great offense and shooting, The good news is that he is about to change that.

Jarred Vanderbilt has been working out with assistant coach Phil Handy this offseason, and a recent video has been released on Vando working on his corner 3's. While his shooting is still far from perfect, he keeps working to improve and get better.

Rui Hachimura will be the starter over Jarred Vanderbilt

The bad news for Vando is that despite his efforts, coach Ham is planning to use Rui Hachimura as the starting win over him. Still, things could change at training camp, as the Vando vs. Rui for the starting role will be one of the interesting things to follow at the start of the regular season.
