The Lakers' Japanese wing is so determined to have a breakout season in the next campaign that he took the hard decision of stepping down from his national Basketball team and not participating in the current FIBA World Cup to focus on his workouts in LA.

Hachimura is working hard to get his best shape and best performance, but he has still been following what Japan has been doing at the FIBA World Cup.

Today, Japan defeated Cape Verde and with that win the National Basketball team made history and is going to the Olympics in Paris the next year. This could allow Hachimura to participate with Japan in that tournament.

Hachimura has reacted epically to show his support of the team by retweeting some pictures and videos and posting different emojis of the Japanese flag, the fire emojis, and the praying emoji, showing his support and enthusiasm for what his National team has accomplished.

The fans want Rui Hachimura in the team next year

After Rui reacted to Japan qualifying for the next year's Olympics, the fans responded to the Lakers star by saying they are waiting for him to join the team next year and are excited to see what he can bring to the group.
