The offseason moves for the Lakers are complete now that GM Rob Pelinka has found the big they had as their first option this summer after signing the center Christian Wood.
A lot of names were rumored to join the Lakers as they were running thin in the center position with only Anthony Davis, Jaxson Hayes, and the rookie Colin Castleton.
With information via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski "Free agent F/C Christian Wood has agreed on a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN. The deal includes a player option.
Wood averaged 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Mavericks a season ago. Wood also had 30 points, eight rebounds seven assists, and four steals in a Christmas Day win over the Lakers."
The Lakers now have filled 14 of their 15th spots, as they have stated they are saving the last place for further in the regular season. With the signing of Christian Wood, now LA is ready to start training camp.
