The NBA world has seen the playoffs, but yesterday in game two, the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings went around the world in a play where Draymond Green stomped on Sabonis and then got flagrant.
Everyone online started giving their opinion regarding the play, whether it was a foul that should get a suspension or Green "defending" himself after getting his leg grabbed by the Kings star.
But now the Lakers legend and hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal has given his two cents on the matter, and to the surprise of most people, he is siding with Draymond Green.
Shaq said: "One bad play begets another bad play… I'm not going to sit up here and be a hypocrite. I'd do the same thing, I really would. Don't be grabbing me because what am I gonna do? If I stay there and just try to run forward, I'll fall. You got to get him above you. And if you're above and if you're in the way, you might get stomped on. Was it a dirty play? Of course it was a dirty play."
If the Golden State Warriors star hits free agency in the offseason, a report suggests the Lakers want to sign Draymond Green and pair him with LeBron James. But after what happened yesterday, they should think twice before signing the hot-head star.
