The rumors are over now that the speculation and waiting to see which new player the Lakers are about to sign are now in the past with the newest signing of the big center Christian Wood.

With a depth roster, the Lakers have different options on their team, and so far according to NBA insider Jovan Buha reports, the first possible starting five  lineup for coach Ham Lakers could have:

D'Angelo Russell as the Point Guard, Austin Reaves as the Shooting Guard, Small Forward LeBron James, Powerful Forward Rui Hachimura, and Anthony Davis as the team's Center.

This starting five could change depending on how things go at training camp, as Gabe Vincent could start instead of D-Lo, and Jaxson Hayes instead of Hachimura, making Davis move to the PF role.

With the reported starting five in mind, the team rotations could look something like having Gabe Vincent as the 6th man, 7th Wood, 8th Prince, 9 Vando, 10th Max or Reddish, 11 Reddish or Max, 12th Hayes, 13 Schifino, 14 Lewis and then the two ways, Hodge, Colin and Fudge.

Jarred Vanderbilt could be the starter over Rui Hachimura

After the amazing postseason performances by Rui, it has been stated that will have the starting role, but still Jarred Vanderbilt could return to that role after training camp or depending on the rival because of the defensive game Vando brings to the team.
