The Los Angeles Lakers were able to reach the ninth spot that, which makes them enter the Play-In after the victory against the Memphis Grizzlies, and were just one spot behind the Clippers, but yesterday's games have changed the seed position for different teams.

The purple and gold will probably see the return of D'Angelo Russell ahead of their Friday night game against the Toronto Raptors to continue seeking their pursuit of climbing positions in the Western Conference.

Should the Lakers manage to continue climbing the standings, they would secure a spot in the playoffs without needing to qualify via the play-in games. They are currently on a two-game winning streak, but they need at least two wins and hope the Mavs and Timberwolves lose their next games to keep climbing spots.

If the Lakers want to stay in the Play-In or even try to get into the playoffs zone, there is no room for mistakes; they need to keep adding wins to be able to aspire to their goal of making it into the postseason.
