Not every NBA fan was happy to hear Austin Reaves was part of Team USA, despite having a breakout season. But the Lakers SG was able to earn the respect of his teammates and fans once he started playing.
Austin Reaves had a great debut with Team USA against Puerto Rico. The Lakers SG came off the bench and immediately impressed everyone with a corner 3-pointer.
Reaves was so good in the first half that even the superstar LeBron James reacted to his teammate and posted on Twitter: "A-R you so COLD man!!! #TeamUSA"
Reaves is already winning over fans that aren't part of the Lakers Nation and is showing why he is something special despite the narrative that tries to bring him down.

Austin Reaves and LeBron James had a great relationship and the Lakers SG expressed of the King: "That's my guy. I learned a lot from him in 2 years. I hope we can win a championship together this season."
