The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will not be able to return to the NBA All-Star game, as he injured his finger in the first half after trying to block a shot and hit his finger with the rim.

This is the worst news possible for the Los Angeles team, as they are currently the 13th seed in the West and need their superstar to turn things around.

LeBron is out for the rest of the All-Star game, and now the alarms have been turned in the Lakers; they have labeled the injury James suffered tonight as a "hand contusion."

This injury comes right after LeBron said he was going to 'make sure' to play every remaining Lakers game this season. Which now is starting to look improbable.

LeBron showed love to Kobe's family

The Lakers star LeBron James at half-time when he got homaged by the NBA for passing Kareem's scoring record of all time, made himself available to show some love to Kobe's family.
