The Lakers were able to have one of the season's most epic and biggest comebacks against the Dallas Mavericks as they were able to return after being down by 27 points.

This Sunday's game was a lost cause for the Lakers in their attempt to make it to the playoffs. Still, the team didn't quit and could stop the Mavs duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving; thanks to the outstanding performances of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Jarred Vanderbilt, the purple and gold won by 3 points.

The Lakers had done something they hadn't done in over two decades, as LeBron James led the team to have a 27-point come back and become the largest comeback win for the Lakers since Dec. 6, 2002, when they overcame a 30-point deficit against the Mavericks.

LeBron James even played with a right foot injury after saying, "I heard something popped," but that didn't stop the King from closing the game, and in the end, it was worth it.

LeBron James will be missing tomorrow's game against the Grizzlies

The bad news is that LeBron's sacrifice, while worth it for Sunday's game, will miss the critical game against the Memphis Grizzlies this Tuesday. In addition, D'Angelo Russell is listed as doubtful.
