The world has witnessed an incredible game at the US Open where the world's no. 26 tennis player Frances Tiafoe defeated one of the greatest players of all time in tennis history, Rafael Nadal. And LeBron James was watching Tiafoe making history. LeBron didn't hesitate to take Twitter and send a message to the young player.
Lakers superstar, LeBron James, has been constantly vocal on his social media about the games he has been following in recent days. The weekend was full of posts from James, all excited about the start of College Football. And now LeBron has tweeted about another entirely different sport: tennis.
James was excited for the young Frances Tiafoe and maybe reminded him of his younger self, with a hunger for a winning mindset. LeBron wrote, "CONGRATS, Young King!!! You earned it!" showing his appreciation for Tiafoe's efforts at winning to be one of the best tennis players.
Funny enough, some Tennis and NBA fans had similarities between Frances Tiafoe's performance at the US Open with the Lakers star LeBron James. And has also used twitter to show a picture that mixes both athletes to comical results.
The four times NBA Champion LeBron has supported all types of athletes during his twenty-year career in the league. James has consistently recognized greatness in the younger generation of athletes as he once was in a similar position. There's no doubt that LeBron is a great sports comrade that will continue to show support and recognition to the ones that deserve it.
