Los Angeles Lakers Legend is ready to put this team above the Lakers

In a recent exclusive interview with AllClippers at the 9th Annual Cedric The Entertainer Celebrity Golf Classic, Los Angeles Lakers champion Derek Fisher revealed that the LA Clippers great constructed team and probably come out of in top the West surpassing their city rivals, Lakers. He use a comparison with a Boston Celtics duo to explain why are the Clippers ready to compete for the Championship.

During the interview the five-time NBA champion comment, the possibilities for the Clippers this year, "I think the Clippers have as good of a chance at anybody of coming out of the West, I don't know if LA is prepared for the Clippers to come out of the West before the Lakers do, but it's legitimately possible based on the way the teams are currently constructed, and we're just gonna have to see how the season plays out."

The Clipper were a disappointment last season as they ended their regular season with a 42.40 record barely getting to the playoffs being 9th in the Western Conference. Once in the playoffs they both games in the play-in round and missed their chance to compete for the Finals. Let's, however, not forget that Kawhi Leonard was injured all last season and he is a key player for the team. Now with him in the roster and Paul George by his side, the Clippers are once again contenders.

The former Lakers player continued his interview by explaining that the Clippers have a great duo this upcoming season, "I think that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the combination of those two guys - when you think about what the Boston Celtics were able to do with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as that kind of duo, Kawhi and Paul George are the grown man version of those two guys," Fisher concluded.

Where do the Lakers duo rank in the NBA?

Lakers Fans believes they have one of the best duos in the whole NBA, and they are not wrong. LeBron James and Anthony Davis cand dominate the League when healthy, but the past two years they have come short. Rightnow, Warriors duo of Curry and Thompson, the Bucks duo of Gannis and Middleton, the Celtics duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and the Clippers duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, seem to be in better form than the LAkers combination.
