By James Brown
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been with Nike since the beginning; the famous brand made a bet that later paid off big time when they signed a young James. In recent years it has been reported that both parties signed a lifetime deal.
But the Lakers star is not the only one that has done that, as the international soccer PSG superstar Leo Messi has done the same with Adidas. But between the two of them, who has the better deal?
It is a tricky question to be answered, as both superstars are reported to receive approximately 25M annually. However, in the case of LeBron, it is rumored that the Lakers forward and Nike's deal goes slightly beyond the Billion dollars. For Messi, it is also around a Billion dollars but a little lesser, something in the 900M.
Even when LeBron has a billion net worth, and Messi is around the 600M, the PSG superstar was the highest-paid athlete, counting his salary plus sponsors and investments, with around 130M. In contrast, the Lakers superstar LeBron was a close second with 121.2 Million in earnings.
